We click our photos in natural light so that the product depicted on the website is closest to how it looks in reality. However, there are times when the camera lens cannot match the perspective of an eye and thus slight colour difference seen in the product is unavoidable. Some products and colours also tend to look slightly brighter in photos as the camera lens always highlights certain colours more. Also, our products are truly handcrafted and hand done. Slight irregularities in motifs, texture, and colour are a part and parcel of handcrafted products and lend character to it. Please also understand that unlike chemical dyed and digital printed products, handcrafted products are not mass manufactured but Infact made in batches. Thus slight variation in colour, shade, motif in each batch produced is natural due to the human involvement in the process. However, if the product has a genuine quality/manufacturing defect then we are open to extending full refund or re-fulfilling your order.

To ensure that your order reaches you in good condition, in the shortest span of time, we ship through India Post only. The cost of the preferred shipping facility might differ and has to be borne by you.

What if I the product is received in damaged condition?

If you think, you have received the product in a bad condition or if the packaging is tampered with or damaged before delivery, please refuse to accept the package and return the package to the delivery person. Also, please call our customer care at 8220659406 or email us at selainayakibills@gmail.com mentioning your Order ID. We will personally ensure that a brand new replacement is issued to you with no additional cost. Please make sure that the original product tag and packing is intact when you send us the product back.

What about international shipping?

We ship our orders internationally. The shipping charge will be calculated separately based on weight and to which country the parcel is to be shipped. All international shipping will be done through Garudavega/UPS/DHL.

What are the international shipping rates?

The Shipping rates are based on weight slabs of 500 gm and are separated into shipping zones. Basically what this means, the more you order the more you save on shipping.

Why is there a delay in getting the international tracking details?

While we strictly adhere to the same day dispatch policy (except sunday), there is the added procedure of customs verification for international shipments. Hence there will be a delay in updating the tracking info.

Cottons/Silk Cottons/Devendras Soak in cold or normal water with liquid detergent/Shampoo for 15 mins. Let it drip. Pat with hands to avoid wrinkles if any and hang in shade. Chinnalampattu Dry clean to keep the starch intact or wash as specified for Devendra Silk Dry clean for the first time after 2-3 drapes. For the second wash, take 1/2 litre of water, add salt, and soak the saree in the bucket for a few minutes. For the 3rd wash, use cold water, baby shampoo and softener. Sarees stay good for long if washed after 2-3 drapes. Air the saree after every drape and neatly fold it. You can also store the sarees in the cotton bag that we provide. Donts • Do not wash after every drape • Do not iron at the creases • Do not use powder detergents as they are mueant for thick fabrics. Do not squeeze or brush as the fabric stretches easily. Wipe any stains with a wet hand towel. Caution Bright coloured Devendras, Indigos, Sungudi’s and Ajrakhs might bleed colour a little at the first wash. This is inevitable in hand-dyed sarees
